Gareth of Wildflame aka Neyo
Breed: F2 Northern Inuit
DNA profiled by Embark
Neyo‘s favourite subject is food food and more food! He has an insatiable appetite, making training a breeze. Sometimes a worrying issue as we need to always and everywhere pay attention.
He learns quickly by observing his older friend Dalton and quickly mimics behaviors, even performing tricks for treats on his first attempt. Neyo excels in daily routines, staying put during “Down + Stay” just like Dalton, showcasing remarkable obedience.
Indoors, he enjoys playful antics with fluffy toys, while outdoors, he races around the garden and delights in digging and exploring sand piles.
Shy around other dogs initially, he warms up over time, preferring to observe from a distance before engaging in play.
People, especially those with smaller children, capture his affection, and he adores being petted, and cuddled.
Neyo’s soft, fluffy fur earns him lots of compliments during walks.
Though mischievous with a penchant for “stealing” items, redirecting his focus to fluffy toys has proven successful. He never destroyed anything he wasn’t supposed to.
Car rides proves no challenge, he’s usually napping during the journey.
He’s very active during the day, sometimes unstopped which isn’t always handy when trying to work. He’s chilled in the evenings and sleeps soundly through the night.
Neyo was already nicely housetrained when he got here and continued this routine. He’s super active, highly trainable and obedient. My only concerns lies in managing his prey drive.
Ney is a sweetheart who cherishes forest walks, towel-drying rituals, and the joy of being lifted and cuddled.
